The Future of Fabulous Hair is Here

Maybe you heard about rag curls from your grandmother or great-aunt. If not, we’ll give you a little lesson. Rag curls are a heat-free way to get soft pretty curls all over year crown. It’s a vintage approach, but one that’s stood the test of time. Rag curls are fairly simple you just need the following:
2 x 5 strips of fabric (taken from old clothing or sheets)
A comb
water
Next up follow these steps:
Start with wet hair. Either dampen with a spray bottle or work with fresh out-of-the-shower hair (pat with a towel and make sure it is evenly dry)
Take a small section of hair and twist it around one strip of fabric from the bottom to the top–don’t twist too tight, or it won’t dry.
Tie the fabric strip into place (under the curl) and repeat until all of your hair is rolled.
Now head to bed. You’ll want your curls to set overnight, so in the morning you’ll wake up with pretty waves. Note if you’re doing this for an evening outting, set your hair early in the day so they’re dry by night.
Gently untie the rags and spray a little LiQWd Professional Working Spray for hold. Et viola! Soft, beautiful curls and no heat damage.

Christina Hendricks Party ‘Do or Don’t?

We absolutely love Christina Hendricks. When it comes to style, doing her thing on Mad Men and hair she’s all the rage in our book. Most recently the ginger darling was spotted pouring cocktails at her annual holiday party. In addition to keeping the fete fabulous, Christina showed off a sexy pompadour. Her rich locks were all pinned up in a vintage fashion, but she kept her look festive by leaving a strand lose here and there. What do you think, is this a winning look?
